And, of course, in Helena you are only three hours away from two of the most beautiful national parks in the country, Yellowstone and Glacier. We’re a city of nearly 26,000 people and can boast of both small-town atmosphere and big-city accommodations, which make us the ultimate site for tours of all sizes. Transportation


Getting to, from and around Helena couldn’t be more convenient. The Helena airport is served by Delta, SkyWest, Horizon Air and starting in June, 2008, United Air. You’ll find daily Helena connections to and from Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City and Minneapolis as well as Montana sites including Billings, Missoula and Great Falls.

On the ground, Rimrock Trailways offer six departures daily with service to Bozeman, Billings, Butte, Great Falls, Missoula, Kalispell and all points in between. Rimrock connects with Greyhound in Missoula and Bozeman for travel to points east and west.

And you’ll have no problem getting around Helena. Dial-a-Ride offers both door-to-door service as well as 19 regularly scheduled stops connecting downtown Helena with the east side of the city. If you’re looking for a scenic ride, there’s always the Last Chance Tour Train, a spectacular one-hour tour of Helena’s colorful history. If your group would like to have the train all to itself, it’s also available for private bookings. Visit www.lctours.com.

Helena is also home to four major car rental companies. Hertz, Enterprise, National and Rent-A-Wreck are conveniently located for travelers that require a rental car.
